This quality cane smallpipe chanter reed is made by a trusted brand and comes with its own plastic storage vial. The reed is suited to Naill, McCallum, and Shepherd smallpipes in the key of A. A cane reed can enhance the sound of the smallpipe, but it does require a bit more care than a plastic reed. It is also moisture-sensitive, although this is not much of an issue with the McCallum smallpipes, which have  a moisture control system. Made in Scotland.
